About the game

BANKRUPT is a free role-playing game set in a rough modern city. You start with nothing in the ghetto and work your way up: level your skills, earn better gear, finish quests and build your money.

It's being built as an online game you play together. During the alpha, each player has their own world while accounts and multiplayer are built.

The world

You start in the ghetto. The projects are next, and the docks are coming. Cars are your teleports: get one running and it drives you across the map.

Fighting

Three fighting styles, each strong against some crews and weak against others, and every crew shows its weakness on its card.

Brawl: Fists and hand weapons, up close. Better weapons wear down and get repaired with scrap.
Gunplay: Pistols, shotguns and rifles from range. Every shot uses a round, and rifles cut through armor.

The starting island is free. A members area with more land comes later. Nobody can buy their way to the top: nothing that makes you stronger is for sale, and there are no loot boxes.
